Who I am

Carolina was born in Detroit, Michigan to parents who were born in Oaxaca, Mexico. She found herself in this mix of culture’s and trying finding her own identity to this new world. She spent most of her life playing the flute practicing to be a great musician for 9 years but found herself seeing it just as a hobby. Her love of photography came from her father telling her his stories of him working at a newspaper developing negatives when he was younger in Oaxaca.

Now currently working on her BA in Photography and a minor in Management at Columbia College Chicago.
